She is known as DC's Queen of the Blues. Carly Harvey has toured the US from Coast to Coast, placed as a semi-finalist in the International Blues Challenge, and performed at The Big Blues Bender, the biggest blues festival in the US. Her Afro-Indigenous roots have influenced the heart of her deep roots music, and transcended generations. But Carly doesn't stop at the stage, she shares her culture and songs as a music teacher and educator across the DMV. She is releasing her first full length album, Kamama.

And you can help.

How you can support Carly

Carly's project cost $16,000 to pay for production, the studio, session musicians, and distribution. She has raised $8,500, including a $1000 donation from Level Up Collaborative. ***All finances will be communicated and transparently represented, and all funds go directly to support Carly and her full length album release.***

Roots music performer, Carly Harvey blends heritages to heal hearts with music and build a bridge across cultures. Her album is currently half funded. We are raising $7,500 to help her finish this important piece of modern art representing the Afro-Indigenous roots of North America.
